Banjo Player Dick Brown Recovering from Hand Surgery!

Image634572324895810000Prescription Bluegrass has learned that banjo master Dick Brown formerly with Lost Highway for more than ten years and then a slot in the short-lived Sawmill Road (now with the Copper River Band) is in the recuperation portion of his hand surgery.

Dick had his left thumb worked on and should make a complete recovery according to our sources.  Dick asked the Doc if he would be be able to play the banjo after the surgery.  The answer from the Doc. was; he didn't see why not with proper care and follow-up.  (No banjo jokes here please)

This is great news. Good thing that there are hand surgeries available to people like Dick Brown whose career is the use of their hands.
