Giddyup Kitty to Play Benefit for Search and Rescue

Image634787316193665674Larimer County, Colorado Search and Rescue is holding a benefit concert at Performance Park in Estes Park on Saturday August 18th at 6:30PM. The featured bluegrass band, Gittyup Kitty will be performing. 

Giddyup Kitty is a four-piece, high-energy, all-female bluegrass band from Longmont Colorado. The Denver Post says they are “the finest bluegrass you’ll find anywhere along the Front Range”.

Quentin Young from The Longmont Times Call describes Giddyup Kitty as a “bluegrass band made up of serious pickers, accomplished harmonizers and experienced performers.” Weaving fine melodies with rich harmony, these award-winning musicians create a show that leaves an audience joyful, and asking for more!

The concert is free but donations will be accepted at the entrance.

Larimer County Search and Rescue is an all-volunteer non-profit Colorado corporation that provides search and rescue equipment and highly skilled SAR personnel to the Larimer County Sheriff and wherever our services are needed AT NO CHARGE. Please join us for a night of great music in the cool air under the stars!

Giddyup Kitty is a high energy, female powered bluegrass band from Longmont Colorado. 2009 Finalist in the Telluride Bluegrass Band Competition. Stellar vocals on both original and traditional material.Their fiddle driving, dobro sliding, mando chopping, bass booming sound puts smiles on folks faces and gets their feet's a-tapping.
