As part of the upcoming anniversary celebration, a retrospective collection of memorabilia has been assembled by bluegrass historian, Fred Bartenstein with contributions from Phil Zimmerman, Ken Landreth, Sonny Osborne, Tom King, and Historic Fincastle, Inc.

Along with photos and audio recordings made 50 years ago, one of the more interesting items included is the actual performance contract between the festival and Bill Monroe.

Fred Robbins, who has also contributed a few items to the collection has assembled them for all to see on his web site here:  http://frobbi.org/audio/fincastle65/
