From Bluegrass to Jazz to Folk, four of the world’s most respected banjo artists are coming to Oklahoma City for one memorable concert event.
Scheduled to appear are:
- · CYNTHIA SAYER – New York City jazz icon and world-renown woman of jazz as the result of her international tours and film appearances (most notably with filmmaker and jazz musician, Woody Allen).
- · GARY “BISCUIT” DAVIS – A four-time national banjo champion and band leader for international superstar, Dolly Parton.
- · MARK JOHNSON (joined by EMORY LESTER) – Creator of the “Clawgrass” style of banjo playing, Johnson was presented the 2012 Steve Martin Prize for Excellence in Banjo and Bluegrass during an appearance on Late Night with David Letterman.
- · ANDY EASTWOOD – A national celebrity in England, Eastwood is a delightfully entertaining vaudevillian in the manner of the late British icon, George Formby.
